Hey yall,

Normally I avoid Buffalo Bayou (the trash on the banks, the abandoned castnets that have taken about $40 of my lures).

On top of that, Mason creek is having construction done on my favorite spots.

But since Ive been building a taste for catfishing, I decided to give it another try.

Im thinking of going this Saturday (afternoon likely) to this spot. I remember a year ago, someone posted that they had the best of luck here.

I drove through there tonight! Not sure about the fishing though Was "wildlife watching". Saw a couple bucks, baby gators, an owl, an otter, and HOGZILLA! The thing was effing massive!

I've thought about fishing the area as well. From what I've heard it's good just haven't tried for myself yet.

Haven't been I'm that part since the summer.
However, there is a trail from the soccer fields back to a bayou that eventually goes into Buffalo Bayou, and I caught a few small cats and a carp from there.

Eventually, you'll see a Bobcat there.
Ive 2 on separate occasions (1 was only 10 yards from me).
Ive tried to take a pic, but any noise will spook them off.
