It was a nice day on the lake Thur. one of my friends got to go due to me changing the day.Met a fellow Tff member at Twok. Started the day out by gitting stoped in Rockwall my plug on my trailer lights worked its way loose. I was thinking man if this is the way this day is going to go I might as well go home.After he ran my tags and insurance he let me go. Catching bait was tuff just 1 to 2 each throw. After a while I said lets go I had some perch with me.We started drifting picked up some here ,and there with two hybrids mixed in. The rest of the time we spent anchored in shallow water.Most fish were caught between finger point ,and two mile bridge looks like 2" fresh shad was the hatch to match.Drifting we picked up most fish in 25 to 10 ft of water.While we were anchored it was less than 13 ft of water. Did not catch any larger than 7 lbs. 12 blues and 1 hybrid were someone's dinner. I wish I was going to be able to fish the 10th and get to met some of you,but some of have to work (no vacation left and if I called in sick I would catch the lake record) Good luck everyone!
