did ok with 8' (reels were a lil too big) - 7' and less would be best- cooler plus 10' rods is why i went to a wagon.....i broke the 10' down two pieces and used it but size 60 & 70 spinning reels lil big too....

Those are nice... I have one myself.

a word of caution: dont over load it like I did or the sling (handle) will come apart...

I paired mine up with a golf bag caddy and strapped it on with some bungie cords..

But yeah... that is an excellent value from abc dist.

the cart I have is like the z tech aluminum pull cart, picked it up from craigslist for $20.00 and it works real nice when I use that setup..

My other setup is:

I use a wagon......but theres some places a wagon or cart wont go ...like a rocky bank or jetty

That cart is perfect for Freeport Jetty. Now if you can make a small portable motorize 4 wheeler sitting for 1 to pull that wagon for 1/2 a mile to the end of the jetty. thumb

Here is a set up that I love to use. THere are different variations that I can use with it... pole and bucket placements, etc...


I am also procrastination on fixing a bicycle with a "hitch" of somekind to pull it for those long hauls. Example:

For anyone that might have order this I did on the 11-27-11 and got a shipping notice today. It takes them a long time to ship.

Same here. Ordered the same day and got notice today that it shipped yesterday. The estimated delivery is Wednesday 12/21! It it coming by horse and carriage?
