This morning I had to take my son to the emergency room after experiencing a reaction to an insect bite while he was sleeping. The Dr has him on antibiotics and an anti-histamine. I pretty much tore his bedroom apart trying to find what could have bit him. I found probably a half dozen of these dead spiders behind his bed. Does anyone know what these are?

Here is a pic of a brown recluse.

Note that there is a fiddle shaped mark on the top of the back. That is the quickest way to identify them. Hope your kiddo i feeling better.

The legs look right for a recluse, but the cephalothorax on them is very dark. You should be able to see the violin-shaped mark even on a dead and dry specimen.

Hope your boy gets better soon.

You may want to take a few of these dead critters to the doctor or exterminator to see if they can ID them.
