Overlook is first left after the dam if coming from Longview. I am not sure on lakeside park. I know brushy and copeland are closed. Tejas is very difficult on dual axle trailers. Hope this helps.

I'm curious too, we're about to start heading that way soon for some winter crappie trips. Last winter was too good to not go again.

Overlook is on the far side of the dam from Diana, but it is only 1 or 2 miles from Brushy. I would just go there, especially if chasing crappie in the main channel. The ramp is still ok. Just be aware of the rip-rap the corps has put in there and also note the points run out further than you think.

Lakeside is the park most folks refer to as Sandy Beach. It is in the middle of the dam. Last report I saw on TFF was of someone dropping off the end of the ramp. Corps website says closed.

Brushy creek is the 1st ramp on the Diana side of the dam, but you can't get out of the cove into the lake. The corps website doesn't say closed, but it lumps the park and ramp(s) together for Brushy.

I know there is at least 1 other ramp, Piney Hill, near Diana that was in ok shape, but the cove it is in is really heavily timbered. The corps website says this ramp is closed now.

Copeland, on Diana side is listed as closed by Corps. Haven't put in there in months. I would imagine low water has closed this ramp.

Only other place I can think of is Pop's Landing. Haven't been there in 8 months, am not overly familiar with it, and it ain't listed on the corps site's closures...so no help from me.

Lake O Pines Park Status - US Army Corps

Haven't chased any crappie yet this fall, had too good of a bass bite the past few times out! Imagine this last round of cool weather will shift the patterns and hopefully start pushing some crappie into the deep water in earnest.

pops is closed. i live in tejas village and the ramp is ok for a 4 wheel drive truck and someone that doesent mind running off the end of the ramp. I personally would launch there because I live just a 100 yards or so from there but I always end up burning an inch of tread off my tires to get out... maybe not an inch but you get the point

Fishing has been ok in 18-21 feet in the timber/brushpiles but after this cold front, it could be really good in the deep water. I have not been since sunday.
