I launched this morning at 7AM in a heavy fog and temperatures in the upper 40’s. The water temperature in the areas I fished today was 63 degrees and the water color is cloudy. I concentrated on 3 areas today focusing mainly on weed beds in these areas. This proved to be a good choice, boating 7 solid Largemouth Bass all in the 2 to 2 ˝ pound range. All the fish caught today came on either shallow running crankbait or a 10” Texas Rigged worm. The water levels continue to drop and is now almost 17’ low with water being released. Extreme care must be taken when on the lake now more then ever. I finished up todays trip at 10:30 AM.
