Hey yall,

Can anyone give any pointers on fishing in creeks, rivers, and ponds after a good soaking rain?

I primarily fish for bass and catfish, but anything that bites is worth it.

We got a good soaking here in Katy for most of the day today,(Thank you Lord). I might be able to step out tomorrow in the early morning.

The water levels are rising and turning muddy (putting every out of whack), and want to see if there's anything I can do to make up for it.

We should meet up sometime. I'm out here too.

I'm always look for a boating partner. Sometimes I can't get anyone on my boat.

Buzzbait,spinnerbait,trap, moving baits or dark worms. During rain a spook popper or buzzbait is awesome.
