Bought a nice 06 Bass Cat yesterday - thanks for everyone's referrals, advice and ads. Steve 12-16-11
___________________________________________

Hello,

I am looking for a very clean, as near new/perfect condition as possible Bass Cat or Ranger. I am an honest individual cash buyer in the Dallas, TX area. No scams or gimmicks. Would like to limit search area to 2 -3 hrs radius of Dallas for now, but willing to expand later if can’t find the right one here locally. Ready to buy as soon as I find the right one at a fair price.

Desired features include:
- Super clean, 2004 or newer year model, garage kept 19 or 20 foot boat, single or dual console with no physical damage and nice looking color scheme. Like red, but open to other colors too
- 2004 or newer year model, 200 or more HP Mercury Optimax or XS engine with under 200 hours only please
- Motorguide or Minkota foot controlled trolling motor
- Hotfoot & Jackplate
- Lowrance or Hummingbird finders, color with GPS
- Onboard 3 or 4 bank charger
- Custom fit boat cover
- Tandem axle trailer, preferably with brakes and swing away tongue
- Need to stay under $30k, but willing to negotiate based on boat’s book value

Would like to find and buy ASAP. Been looking a few weeks already with not much luck so far. Please send me info and pictures if you have one that fits this description. I will respond quickly. Send the pics and boat details to: colbydell@gmail.com

Thank you!

Sometimes it takes months to find that perfect rig but patience it key in my opinion, you wont be sorry when you end up with your perfect boat. Good luck sir.

Here's mine. It meets your requests except it's a Skeeter with a Yamaha.

Steve,

Take a look at my boat I'm selling through Fun N Sun. It is older than what you are looking for by 2 years. But... This boat is very well maintained. I purchased the boat from the original owner from Indiana 3 years ago. It had 102 hours on it and was garage kept. He kept it polished and shined and it never saw rain till I got it. It now has 356 hours on it all put on by me. I did have to store it outside unfortunately but it was covered the entire time. I kept it waxed and took care of seats and upholstery as best I could. I think you will find it to be in every bit as good a shape as the minimum year range you were looking at 04' and probably as clean as most 06's wink You will save some money and it might be a win/win as you will get the quality you are looking for at a reduced price.

You can shoot me a PM and I can give you my phone number to discuss. Or you could call Jay or Monte at the number they listed in the post.

I love these posts as it always appears that there just aren't any good used boats out there anymore.

Good luck in your search sir - post of pic of you and your first bass in your new boat when you can.

Steve I know this is a little more boat and money than you asked for but you wont need to trade up in a year or two when you get bored.
This boat is super nice and priced to sell!
$ 33,000.00 is a steal for this much Ranger!
Let me know if I can help.

You just need to be patient and look in all the right places, you'll find what your looking for for a lot less money than you are willing to spend. After a couple months of looking I recently bought a 2005 Skeeter TZX 200 with a 200 3.3L HPDI with only 138 hrs on it, boat was indoor stored and very well maintained and paid $17,500. It did need updated GPS units but other than that it is ready to rock and roll. It was even the color scheme I was looking for. I found it on Craigslist and feel like it was a great deal.
