Never fished lewisville from the boat and thinking about heading out there tonight. Where would be the best place to launch if coming from ft. Worth. Will be getting there round 3 or 4 am. Probably going to try drifting for blues if not to windy. Thanks

The winds are supposed to be pretty bad tomorrow and rain. Might want to keep an eye on the weather before heading out, calling for 20mph winds.

No problem, lol worth isn't producing anything from the bank, DCM had a real tough time fining bait in BrianTx01s boat. Found them deep in the middle of the lake. Good luck

Thanks, we found plenty of bait shallow by the island. Fished 3 hrs catching only 3 blue and 2 channel two to 7 pounds. Then got harassed by the gw at the ramp. Luckily we had everything in order. He was the biggest turd bucket that I ever dealt with.

I was out on Lewisville yesterday and couldn't find shad. I tried Lake Park ramp and a bit over by the cut. I fished for a couple of hours with stink bait and posted a zero. I have fished Lewisville ~12 times and shad is the only thing I have caught fish with. Shallow/deep, fast/slow=000 for stinkbait. Where is the island? What do you use when you can't find shad?
Thanks,
Tim

We were at lake worth under 820 off of cahoba. Not sure of the GW name but he had a young guy with him. He was really giving my buddies brother a hard time because, we went and got him a one day pass and the lady put today's date on it instead of yesterday's. We never thought to check the date. GW told him the only reason your not getting a ticket is because he didn't see him fishing. GW wasn't to bad I guess but came off with his demeanor and words as a smart arse. Searched my intire boat and checked everything.

Uncletim1947, I always have a bag of frozen shad with me just incase I can't find any fresh shad. Anytime I find a few extra large shad I'll freeze it for the next trip. And if I don't have any shad I have my homemade puch bait and wee try to find some channel cat.

Thanks,

Fresh buffalo from the seafood dept at fiesta is a good back up bait.
