There are several ramps, 2 in Sanders cove alone then the ones on the north side of the lake (Pat Mayse East and West). Also another one on the west end but it is seldom used, not sure how to get there by car. The ones at Sanders Cove are fine. As mentioned, normally a lot of lily pads but last year very, very few (low water too). There are also a lot of reeds all around the lake, almost all coves have ample amounts of them. The bass relate to these really well at times, others, not so much. Haven't really seen any hydrilla, milfoil or coontail in several years. Not too many years ago, it was plentiful. I have tried deep water numerous times but have yet to establish a deep pattern or location. I've caught a few bass out to about 18' ft off points, a couple of deep brush piles and such but haven't found a big school of them yet. Usually end up catching sandies or hybrids when I try deep water, lol.. I'm sure some have found a deep bite but no consistency there for me. It's a very good bass lake though with some big ones to be had. Overall, 3-4 lbers are plentiful with the occasional bigger fish over 6 lbs and don't be surprised if you catch a 9 or 10, they are definitely there. The month you plan on fishing will dictate the prevalent pattern of course but regardless (unless it's winter), I would start off shallow as there is usually a good bite early there. if pads are present, pound them all day, you will be pleasantly surprised.
