Fished Trinity Bay today. First time with a North wind. There was no water. The flats were high and dry. Just getting the boat to the bay way a adventure. It was like launching the boat in a mud hole. Drifted from the mouth to Anahuac pocket. Caught two flounder drifting the flats. 2 ft water. They were caught on a DOA shrimp bouncing on the bottom. Had a red blow up a top water in the channel, but by then I was so bored, I just watched and didn't react in time. Tomorrow should be better if more water comes in. I saw some guys cleaning fish at the park, but most of the guy were just talking about how shallow it was.
