hehe yeah. I never understood why people feel the need to hold the fish as far away from their body as possible in an effort to make it look bigger. It usually just makes the fish seem smaller because I try to use the person's hand to estimate the size of the fish.

Guys I'm pretty sure he made this thread making fun of someone from the
bass fishing section that posted a pic of a fish that was maybe 6 lbs and he said it was 11 and clearly wasnt it was a full arm extention get the fish as close to the camera picture.

May be the case, but if that is the case, he posted in a section that may not have a clue about an inside joke. Opened himself up for questioning his motives.

Just so there is no uncertainty as to what BJ is trying to say here, if you will check the WOS, you will see that there are five folks on there for "ignoring a moderators request related to fish photos/weights" .

Now BJ would already be dead as a mofo and on the WOS, but I'm in a transitional period here ya see, so I'm not gonna kill his azz...just yet.

I'm gonna use him to make a point once and for all (I hope), When someone is jacked, proud, excited, etc. enough to weigh, photo and post a thread on TFF of a fish they've landed, EITHER CONGRATULATE THE ANGLER ON THEIR CATCH OR SHUT IT!

We've demonstrated on many occasions that we cannot accurately discern the size of a fish from a photo. Too many variables.

So if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all. Do otherwise and risk joining the others for a short vacation.
