I took a solo trip to look over the south end of Lake Palestine today. Man, what a beautiful day to be on the lake.
The fish are starting their winter pattern, although it was a few here and a few there. I ended up with 18 keeper crappie, and caught that many other fish of all shapes and sizes. The fish were just hungry today.

All fish caught on Blueberry / Pearl Slab Bandits in 20 to 25' of water mainly on brushpiles, although a few came off deep ledges.
It was a good day to be alive and living in Texas:-)

The deep end ramp is really in rough shape btw.
The large side drops off alot at the end of the concrete, and the smaller side is about a foot out of level when you launch.
It's tricky, but that is one of the advantages of having a smaller boat.
