Those look great !!!

Not a critique,but a little shorter body will help..You'll love the sickle hooks without the collar too..

thanks guys just getting into to it and i was thinking maybe shorter bodys now i know. thanks again. i will look for some sickle hooks to try them out. do you prefer 1/8 or 1/16? seems i tie more on the 1/16?

90 percent of the jigs I tie are 1/16th. However I've seen Earnest Patty say on this sight that he almost always fishes with 1/8th jigs. That man has forgot more about crappie fishing than I've learned so take that for whatever it's worth.

I agree with the shorter body... You can get sickle hook jig heads from Tim at TnT Tackle..

thanks guys it looks like the sickle hooks will make it easier to tie smaller bodys have never tried them but now i really want to. it is so addicting. i get to try them out today out at bachman lake we will see how it goes. thanks again

Looks like they will catch you some crappie to me. Just keep at it until your happy with them and I am sure they will do the job.

looking very nice. are you using any glue to secure thread? are the heads painted or powdercoated/baked?
