After last week getting rocked and rolled trying to do a side drift at Twok, we decided to go out of the back of the boat, dragging 2 drift socks and running the trolling motor. I built this rack to be able to run 8 rods out the back, it seems to work pretty well. I went in, measured where I needed them to go, cut the material, welded it up, painted them, mounted them, thennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, discovered that I had to take one rod holder off to get it out from under the shed. Didn't take into consideration the overhang at the front of the shed. Un-mount them, cut them down, re-weld, repaint and reinstall. Now I'll have to move one of my lights under the shed, since it gets whacked by one holder when I back in. Best note for today was that we got 1 1/2" of rain this morning.
The bottom photo is the first version before the modifications.

What kinda boat do you have? Looks like you have added a ton of storage.

It's a 21' deep v Starcraft, I'll have to take some other photos of the current storage areas.
