Just thought I would give an update on my experience w/ Humminbird support.
A few weeks ago my 1197 woulden't power up. I called Humminbird (answered w/ live person on 2nd ring). I explained my unit would not power up. We did 2 troubleshooting questions and he asked me to mail it in. I told him the unit was out of warranty 3 months.
He told me not to worry about it, that the first time was on them. I coulden't beleive it.
Humminbird got the unit last Wedniesday, replaced the circuit board, had it in the mail on Friday and I got it at my door on Monday morning.
No questions asked. They just fixed it and got it back to me in a timely manner. Thanks Humminbird.
