Saw a lot of action in the morning but couldn't really find the bite. Tried top water, had a couple of blowups but no takers. Finally caught two nice ones on the grass line but ended up catching most in deep water by timber, very slow retrieve.

Wind was bearable until about 9 then it got down right nasty. Stayed on the water till almost 5. I did see a bald eagle soaring high in the air.

Ended up with 14, not including the last one. Picture of two by the grass and a good slot.

As you can tell the bottle is all moldy and it was several hundred yards away from were I saw it in the morning and I have seen it floating around the lake for a couple of months. Picked it up and put it by the trash cans at Park Prarie.

I'm guessing 5.5#. Wanted to get him back into the water as quickly as I could. Thankfully it was hooked on the lip.

Some nice feesh there

The two bald eagles out there. Usually they are together. I saw them a few weeks ago and one caught a huge fish then dropped it.

I was there last weekend with a friend of mine. He caught a lot of fish throwing crankbaits deep.
