I don't usually get to fish very much, so when I do get to spend some time on the bank, I take pictures and videos so that I can remember that session.

I've started taking pictures of my boots with my pod so that I feel like I'm there again...Sometimes I remember that I didn't catch any fish...





Also, a while back I made a little video. Sometimes I watch it and I really feel like I'm fishing again. (Skip to 1:50 and watch the green hanger):

I watch alot of fishing videos on Youtube but have never made any.....

Self netting with a 12ft. rod and Euro net, never an easy thing to do. Nice vid Chad.

When I can't go fishing I talk about fishing and look at all of the stuff I want to buy. I think I talk about fishing so much that the word "fishing" and "sleeping with someone else" produce the same reaction out of my girlfriend now.

I tie hook links. I think I have over 100 tied right now.
I like reverse-combi rigs because it keeps me occupied longer.

I organize my tackle.

And recently I watched videos about bite alarms.

I like how you use your rod holders for you net.

Yeah- Bank Buddies, although not Euro, are the greatest fishing invention. I also use them to stake down my landing mat (Handy for steadying rods or hanging a light from when you are handling a fish), prop the rods that I am rigging/re-baiting, and to dry mat/net/sacks/socks.

I always do the net like that if a freeze is possible. It's funny later, but not at the moment, when you are trying to land a fish solo into a 2 dimensional net. lol

It also helps prevent tears from twigs amd rocks.
