Deffinately bass and i mainly bank fish because im in college but i do fish from boats every so often.

I dunno I don't Bass Fish but saw this other day.......

Most guys I see with $200-300 casting rigs buy $75 spinning rigs and wonder why they don't work very well. Try a Stradic or Saros on a good rod, and you may find that spinning gear can work pretty well. Even a Sahara at $79 on a 7' Carbonlite would make a slick spinning outfit.

The h20 express liguid spinning combo from academy is great! I use it to drop shot and shakey head with the reel is one of the best reels I've used the rod is good could be better but its under 60 buks and casts a mile!
