Try a Stradic or Saros on a good rod, and you may find that spinning gear can work pretty well. Even a Sahara at $79 on a 7' Carbonlite would make a slick spinning outfit.

The h20 express liguid spinning combo from academy is great! I use it to drop shot and shakey head with the reel is one of the best reels I've used the rod is good could be better but its under 60 buks and casts a mile!
