I am confused about the different tide charts and which one is the most accurate. I was looking at the http://www.saltwatertides.com/dynamic.dir/texassites.html for tide info and it said Rollover Pass only had two tides Friday and Saturday but when I looked at another one on 2coolfishing it said there are four tides for Bolivar for Friday and Saturday.

Where can I find accurate tide info that is written for laymen? I need it in plain English...not those tide charts. I am as lost as a goose in Sunday school trying to read those charts.

Here's a little training clip on tides you could probably read any tide chart after watching it.

and here is probably the coolest little site to get daily tide forecast and easy to read

Thanks guys. I think it helped a lot. I went last night and did okay. It appears fishing a few hours before or after the high/low tide is better since the water is in motion.

The water will stay in motion till the tide is high or low in the back bays, which can at times be up to 3 hours depending on the pass or the back bay.
