I like those Heath...good job. When I used to bass fish a lot, black and gold was a good combo on the coffee colored water of east Texas. Have not tried it for crappie......yet.

I've found crappie usually like the same colors bass do. When I first started tying crappie jigs back in the 70s, I tied the same colors that worked in spinner bait skirts. Worked really well on crappie.

Those pre-spawn bass were a sucker for red spinnerbaits with gold willow leaf blades. Hummm......
