My son Chase and I took a trip to Tawokoni today, first time I have been since last winter, we caught probably at least 30 from 4 -7 lbs and a 9# and a 12, 17, and a 32, it is the first time my son has fished with me this year and I really enjoyed fishing with him, he is going to fish the December 10th Tournament with me, and we were checking a few spots out!!!

Yea, Jared, I broke 4 pairs of those orange fish grips from Cabellas last year, so I put the vice grips in the boat, I havn't caught anything big enough to tear them up yet, but I am sill hoping that I will!!!

The fish found us everywhere we went, just most of them were small, I was a little disapointed, that we didn't catch more big fish, but we had a pretty good day, and a lot of fun!!!

Great job there Larry. I fished over there on Saturday and only put eaters in the boat. There was the on that got away tho. In about 35'( drifting since my anchor wouldn't't hold in that gale), got a good look at it about 40 yds from the boat. Definitely would have been a Pb for me. It was on my worst reel at the moment and I couldn't crank it at all. So I was pumping the rod up and cranking down on it. Just put to much pressure on it and pulled the hook out of it. After seeing Damfishermans posts, we tried shallow. Just got a couple of 5-6 lbers there. Picked up a bunch between 25' and 35', but the only good one stayed in the lake! Tryin again on Friday tho...

Great job larry, those fish are super unpredictable right now so id say it was a great trip.Hank ill be their friday aswell.Their predicting big wing yet again.

Thanks guys, my son don't fish with me much, he came down with this desease, I really don't know if there is a cure for it or not, I had a friend Eric Barker, that I used to fish with all the time, and he came down with it too, I give them the best advice that I can to try to help them, but so far it is no use, if any of you know any treatments that may help them get rid of that "Golf" desease please let me know!!!

My friends have that disease and they try to get me to go. I tell them if it is nice enough to play golf it is nice enough to fish.

They have been working on me too, I just can't do it, I have too many habits already, and some of them I like, but even if I did go with them, I just can't see myself as a "Cow Pasture Pool Player"

I heard there was someone out close to Wichita falls shooting at airplanes, but they came back on the news and said they looked like they were taking swings with their deer rifle knocking the flies off the cowpiles with a loaded rifle, they decided rather than risking anyone else's life by sending them in there to rescue the guy from his self that it would be in their best interest to just back out of there and let the guy go ahead and commit suicide,

I know I was close, but I think your honey hole might be on dry land, I know where I really wanted to fish is mostly dry land, hopefully the rain will help, but I don't think they got as much rain there as we did, we moved a lot, but we didn't go far each time, we moved if we didn't catch a fish in 15 minutes, I usually don't do that, but I was hunting fish, and kept looking for those big ones!!!
