Found a place and camped at Lewisville. Its the old Pilot Knoll campgroung that is now run by Highland Village.Located in the west end of the lake it has a very beautiful drive in and is nicely nestled in the woods.The boat ramp is great.This campgroung allows tent campimg however I was the only tent there.Mostly motor homes and travel trailers. It was an extremely quiet place and security is great with a gated entry.It is so close to Dallas and I was very pleased to find it.It was $18 and includes water and electricity.Picnic table,charcoal gril and fire ring are there as well. I think you will like this place.

For being that close to Lewisville and 35E, it is a beautiful and quiet place. I have never seen it really crowded either.
