Got out this morning for a few hours before the wind kicked up and we called it a day. We managed a few with 2 smallies thrown in. Catching 2 LMB at the same time was a blast... banana

Thanks for a nice trip Jim.... thumb

In the top photo I had 2 fish on at the same time that same size with one getting off right at the boat.

All but one of the fish were caught in a very small stretch of water. Nothing else was caught until Frank caught the 2nd Smallie right when the front blew thru. We had to grab and go at that point as there was some really big white caps coming out of the west.

Enjoyed the trip Frank and glad you got reacquainted with the
Smallies. I've caught a few so far at GV but not as big as the one you got today. More like the size of the 2nd one...regardless they are all fun.

As far as the fish in the top photo I thought it was a spot as well.

cheers

First fish does look like a spot. We were out this morning too. The fog on the upper end was kind of eerie looking prior to the front blowing it off. We fished a little after the front and manages 4 overs after the winds picked up.

I caught a few a couple of weeks ago. This is the best one. You can see the 16" mark between it's tail. I had never caught one out there until this year.
