I have a new Energy E101HPT and the drag slips with little pressure when tightened down.The reel is assembled correctly and the drag washer is dry....what can I do?

Are the drag spring washers installed () or )(. There is also another washer on top.

Make sure all are applied and there is no grease on the main gear surface.

It is supposed to slip when fully engaged but not much so I think you have a tension problem.

Yes,I know that it still should slip some,but takes little pressure to pull off line.The drag spring washers are () and the other washers are in the correct place. I removed the grease from the fiber washer and ratchet under the main gear and now is a bit better.
