Me and Fred(Fishdisasters's Sidekick) braved the winds to catch some good cats today. Ended up with 28 good keepers and released one that was 12 lbs. Fished shallow close to deep in direct wind. No monsters but good healthy fish. All caught on big cut gizzard shad.

Serj, I have not been fishing much lately it has been harder to get away since having our second child last December. Good luck today, I hope to come that way soon.

Dave, I was thinking of going to Worth yesterday but decided not to cause I wanted some for the fryer.

Johnny, it was not to bad yesterday we found a new little island that we could get behind it was breaking the big waves, it is getting pretty shallow out there.

What's a good boat ramp to use at Eagle Mtn with the lake so low? Nice fish!

I belong to the Anglers Club so that is the one I use but Lakeview Marina's ramp is still good, that one would be closer to you coming from Keller, it is at the end of Peden Road.
