Nice list Mack. I keep an MRE and bottle water in the boat and truck as well. Also have a roll of .032 lockwire just in case the wire ties don't do the trick. Always a good idea to have a multimeter too.

Yep, it's a good idea to get serious if you're gonna be a couple hundred miles from home fishin for 2-3 days ending up in a crappie tournament. "Mack's Pak" looks like it covers most all bases. Always best to have it & not need it than to need it & not have it!

a magnesium fire starter and extra socks and a pair of old shoes is a good thing to have. me and my brother drove 5 hours to fish the bridges at Fork, one hour into the trip, a wave came over the bow of my skeeter and soaked bros feet,\. The ambient temp was around freezing. So we had to go back to the ramp, get in the truck, try to dry his socks, ,, that didnt work, so we left in disgust. Hard lessons learned run deep. in hindsight we should have went to a local wallmart and bought a cheap pair of shoes and socks, but we didnt think it at the time. Point is, if you have a magnesium fire starter, it can get wet and still work. pump a little gas oil mix out of the boat, soak some wood and start a fire. even grren, slightly damp wood will burn pretty good if soaked with gas /oil mix.
