I was wondering if anyone out there had any good suggestions on places to fish for crappie just south of Ft. Worth or between Dallas Ft. Worth?

Anything closer? I am about 10 min. South of Ft. Worth. Been fishing Lake Pat Cleburne. To date I have only caught on crappie 9" about 20 bass under 12" and one 14 inch bass and one 16 inch bass. Last time I went out to Ben Brook it was very very low. If I remember right the marina was no longer in water.

Anyone been fishing on Lake Worth recently?

Lake Weatherford is a good bet. The right boat ramp is still usable.

Lake Worth was decent a few weeks back on the bridges ...don't know about lately though

Benbrook also has some nice crappie. Just tie onto the back of Pat's boat to find them.

Granbury was also very good before the last golden algae fish kill. I'm hoping it comes back soon.

Brandos, are you banking it? or do you have a small john boat, or a larger boat. I can help you but you need to give me a bit more information. I fish all over this area. from bank mostly but also from boat when the opportunity arises. let me know and I'll help if i can. Just be prepared to drive an hour.
