I'm the most confident with tutti-frutti maize or sweetcorn. What bait are you the most confident with?

That's the good thing about carp fishing, if you get hungry you can eat your bait.

As for the question, I am really feeling the need to branch out with my bait. I wanna start making more of my own maize and other particles.
At this point, I've become overly dependent on tutti frutti and pineapple maize, but I still have more confidence in good old sweet corn and bread, at least in the cooler months.

I'm really confident with artificials, usually small hookbaits like a single kernel of pop up sweetcorn or a single 12 mil fake pop up flavored or not, if it is it's either in Cherry or Superior Fruitanilla. Nothing really all that complicated.

For big water/big fish, Scopex boilies, and if I'm chumming maize, a few pieces of the chum.
For small water/float fishing, sweetcorn.

Maize. Maize and Range. Tiger Nuts are pretty good, too. We have a home rolled boilie we call Thelonius Funk that we used to roll that always did well also.

Plastics in flavor mixes I have used for years. I have about four or five go to flavor glugs that I have plastics sat in, as well as unflavored.
For chum I am usually using my own groundbait mixes (I have three for different times of the year); very rarely use maize on places where it has been used extensively before; boilies if I am fishing in the same spot for several days. I like my groundbait to be attractive without flavors but still use flavors in them at times.

1st. Canned Corn 2nd. Maize (Unflavored)
I like to use pack, method or cubes and prefer to pre-bait when I can.
