Had the day off to take care of something so off to the creek afterwards. Parked and walked to the first spot, a brushpile I dropped 3 weeks ago and got this on the first drop of the jig.

Fished it for a while and caught probably 15 with 4 over 10inches. Including this...

Went exploring looking for new stumps to fish since the wind wasn't blowing 30. Found a laydown log and pulled this off it on the first throw.

A nice 12 inch Black crappie. The log above my hand had about 15 dinks on it but no keepers.
Walked down the creek some more and found another log that looked good and on the second cast this pulled my bobber under.

Caught a few more dinks of this tree and found another with 4 on it with 1 keeper sized. After catching about 40 for the day I packed it in and headed home. It was a perfect day on the creek.

A famous guide asked me the other day, "Hey does that Anthony guy really do well on the crappie?" I replied, "Well, the pics of the slabs he took from the Brickyard don't lie, and his postings usually have pics, and his YouTube videos show a lot of fish caught by him, so, YEAH, I'D SAY HE DOES!" Shook his head in agreement, and smiled ever so slightly!
