I read the TPWD fishing report every week when it comes out and they always talk about something, usually redfish, being good on Gulps. Are they refering to the Gulps product line made by Berkley? If so that covers dozens if not hundreds of items. Seems a little vague to me.

All the saltwater gulp have the same juice. Try the 4" swimming mullet, the action is incredible and I have been catching reds trout and flounder with them plus you get 12 per bag and you only get 4, 5 or 6 baits with most of the other gulps like shrimp or jerk shad. When the fish tear up the tails keep the bodys and use them like dead bait. Put the body on a small circle hook carolina rigged throw it out there and let it sit if there is a redfish around it will find the gulp even in muddy water. I've been using them more and soft plastics less. I didn't like using them at first cause of the smell and messy juice but the dam things work so good it's all I use now on my jig heads

One of the conversations was in regards to the "juice" that is used in the baits...they are NOT all the same. There are several formulas......the one thing she told me in a clear and concise manner.....do NOT mix the baits....the "juices" do not mix together and if you put a shad bait in with shrimp....the effects are that the 2 scents become a muddled mess. KEEP YOUR BAITS SEPERATE. Also, the stuff sold in the spray bottles are NOT the same in the pints and quarts.

Not in dirty water. In dirty water you catch better with GULP SWIMMING MULLET 3 inch,or MINNOW GRUB 3 INCH,pearl, chartreuse and black.

I was fishing in 25 October 2011 at ROLLOVER PASS with jig and GULP SWIMMING MULLET 4 INCH,PEARL.Water was not clear was little dirty. Because i can't find GULP SWIMMING MULLET or GULP MINNOW GRUB 2 inch-3 inch i cut with my scissor the head of the 4 inch SWIMMING MULLET and i start fishing catching over 25 small flounder, 2 keepers, many sand trout, 7 croacker and one 40 inch red fish. After fishing for 30 minutes a fisherman moved very close to me and started fishing with tandem of GULP SHIRIMP NEW PENNY 2 or 3 inch. I was catching one fish after another and he did not catch nothing. When he saw that i was catching with white color, he changed using LITTLE FISHI white color and started to catch some flounder. So the GULP SHRIMP NEW PENNY don't catch fish in litte dirty or dirty water. Flounder catch on jig with GULP SWIMMING MINNOW PEARL 4 inch: http://s1115.photobucket.com/albums/k554...oftplastic-.jpgFlounders catch on jig with GULP SWIMMING MULLET PEARL 4 INCH : http://s1115.photobucket.com/albums/k554...erkleyGulp-.jpgRed fish catch on 1/8oz.jig with GULP MINNOW GRUB PEARL 3 inc.at ROLLOVER PASS http://s1115.photobucket.com/albums/k554/jscurtu/?action=view¤t=dscf5349.jpgMy rig in 2003 for flounder(GULP MINNOW GRUB CHARTREUSE 2 inch): http://s1115.photobucket.com/albums/k554...GulpbyBerkley-1

I talked to berkley on the phone and thats what they told me. I was only referring to the bucket's of gulps and the bags not the spray bottles I've never used them. I was told all the saltwater gulps have the same juice and you can mix shrimp, mullet, croaker etc. in the buckets. Here's berkley's number if your interested 800 237 5539

Thank you "cudakilla",i like very much to fish, fishing on the bank just with artificials and long spinning rods(over 10')built by me ,but i am not looking to catch big fish, just medium size.If somtime some big fish bite my lure i try ,if is posible to bring the fish in my landing net.
Regards,

Hello "tranchinh", I remember and i am happy because You like the rod. I was telling you Predator rod is very good long rod. I still have problem with my health and i was not fishing from 26 May 2010 until begin of October 2011 because i was not able to drive(peripheral neuropaty). In October i was fishing 5 time at ROLLOVER PASS and 1 time in November. I stop fishing below LIVINGSTON DAM because i have problem walking,so i fish just at ROOLLOVER PASS with the same long rods and artificials baits. Regards, Jean Scurtu

Dunno about the juice thing, but recently we bought the grand son a pier rod and it came with an assortment of tackle. in the same bag it had a couple 3 inch shrimp in new pennie and a few little crabs in natural, which I have yet to try.

If the water is not clear try to fish with 3 inch GULP MINNOW GRUB ,or GULP SWIMMING MULLET PEARL WHITE,CHARTREUSE ,BLACK , not with GULP NEW PENNY,because you have better chance to catch fish IMHO.
