I will be using 2 L.E.D rechargeable cordless car repair lights out there at Cali tomorrow and am frustrated as to the limited site these lights will provide. I do wear a Petzl headlight but want a brighter camp on the bank. I have tried gas and even rechargeable lanterns and still want it to be brighter, I am considering a small generator to plug in some bigger lights but may be a bit pricey, any ideas are greatly appreciated.

I just have a cap light and flash light. Only use them to tie on, bait up, etc... I'll toss out and let the bait clickers do their work. Diddo on lights and bugs. I've also had lights attract snakes and other critters. Just my .02 cents.

yep. the only time i have a lantern on is when I got kiddos with me. Then I use a long pole and put the lantern up high so it cast light about real good. I don't want it too bright, I just want it spread out good.

The old reliable Coleman lantern is hard to beat. It will burn most of the night on one tank. Use a reflector and hang it up high.
