Just how hard are pontoon boats to put on a trailer? I know that win can cause a problem, but I use to putting a high wind profile center console on the trailer. capt david

Like driving a big empty sack of potato chips pards. Add to that most people stuff the trailer too far in the water and it becomes painful to watch.

I sold a fleet of pontoons, and consider myself above average loading and unloading a trailered boat, but without a doubt a big pontoon is the hardest.

Other than that, they are a lot of fun...

It's not too bad when it's calm...put a stiff cross wind into the picture and that's when it gets interesting.

I have drive on guides on my toon trailer. Makes life really easy to load, even in a cross wind....... Hardest part is finding a parking spot for an Excursion and a 28ft trailer....

I have a tri-toon, certainly gets harder with a cross wind, but overall isn't too bad. The drive on guides for my trailer are on the list of purchases for it though.
