thank goodness!!! I thought i was gonna have to go shopping with the old lady. PINESDABBER, I used the hill creek ramp this morning and it was fine. Just shoot straight down the middle and take it slow and you should be okay.

We put 8 bags of sackrete in the middle of it before our last tournament.

Went today and fished from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. and caught about 16lbs. The clouds and the wind had them feeding up shallow on points in the East Lake.

Yep there are some big mamas feeding right now ... My partner caught an 8.12 today and the guy we borrowed the scale from had a 7.62 .... And yes what fast lane said is very true !!!!

I ask who was fishing this tournament and two teams said they were. That doesn't sound very encouraging.

if more doesnt show up then i guess im gonna go shopping with the ole lady.

i am pretty sure that we are in for Friday

Do you have any idea of a head count? Counting me and a partner?

I have had 5 teams say they would fish it. I put a flyer out at Academy. I also put it in the Tyler Paper last Thursday and tomorrow, so that should help.

I hear ya. I'm full as a tick sitting here watching the boys. I used concession last Sat. And it was real skinny @ the end of the ditch had t use trolling motor. Just wanted to let everyone know. Hope Hill creek is better?

Yep, I ate too much, watching the game and checking the TFF..lol. Hill Creek isn't bad. Use the center of the ramp and it is fine. We put a bunch of sackrete at the end of it a couple of weeks ago.

Looking for something to do Friday instead of shopping?


One option is fishing the Black Friday Lake Tyler open bass tournament.



The tournament will be headquartered at Hill Creek ramp, one of the lake’s few open ramps. Trailering will be permitted.

Registration begins at 5:45 a.m. Fishing hours are 6:20 to 3 p.m. Entry fee is $50 per team with a $10 big bass pot.
