Parked at Stroker's Bike shop and walked from harry hines to Denton fishing all spots where i could not see bottom(pretty hard to do in a crystal clear creek). Lots of small bass, and brightly colored bluegills! A few samples:

You can see what i caught them on: red/chartreuse hollow body tubes on 1/16th oz UNPAINTED JIG HEADS, AND FIRECRACKER!

No crappie which kinda surprised me.

Fished from 1PM to 2:30 PM

Rudy

BTW, the creek is cloaked in EXQUISITE FALL FOLIAGE! The Creator has outdone himself. Walk the trails, the wind blows, and a shower of "golden snowfall" of brilliantly colored leaves from native pecan, american elms, and Cottonwoods! The ground is a vermillion canopy of poison sumac, and small red oak trees, and even the poison oak is quite colorful! The absolute best time to walk the creeks! When the fish take a break, take in the magnificent scenery surrounding you! Gotta love it!

watch out for small copperheads though, same color as those beautiful leaves falling gracefully from the trees

Nice creek fish. This is my favorite time of year with the cooler temps a beautiful colors. One important thing to watch out for is ticks! This is their favorite time of the year in looking for a quick meal. They can hide in hard to see areas!!!
