I went to Benbrook was joined by Not a Nibble we got out about 2:30 this afternoon. Fish are scatterd and the bite were very faint closer to dusk they hit more aggressively,

Aw that fish is not big like the ones you been catching, he was one of many that after we got to the shore got released back, I should have released in the same area they were caught, i will do better about that next time.

Bank fished just after dusk. Did not re catch this crappie you released. Only one blue cat. Hair-do and the other marina duck sure had a shad feast about 8:30 when I dumped my shad bucket.

I also wound up with one blue cat at about 4 or 5 yesterday evening. Was that you gaspergou on the point? And I fed the same pair about a quart of shad.

You are allowed to launch off Mustang point, it works pretty good launch off the rocks, as far as a big boat you will have no problem, they filmed Honey Hole episode out here a couple weeks ago.

I launched at the point off mustang, it is pretty easy.

Please don't feed them Shad any more, only corn. Shad will make them taste funny in my Gumbo. Don King Afro puff duck and his lil padnas don't know about Gumbo but they soon find out...

Late fall pattern,the trees still have leaves so fish still shallow 16-18 ft cooler mornings about midmorning 20 ft possible.
Winter pattern usually about two to three strong cold fronts not too many leaves left on trees. Thats just me guessing, may not be right.

Ok, warning..., some of the shad I pitched at the end were dipped in secret 7 and Daniel Kings. Now maybe you will go with a tradional turkey................I have been convenience fishing on the bluff in the ancient jeep cherokee.

I thought they closed the point off after someone got stuck. Guess they reopened it
