How many of you use downriggers, electric/manual, how many on your boat? capt david

I can't , but I have been on boats that use them, and I've been impressed!!
When nothing else works, downriggers will.
The boats I've been on had manual. They were super easy to run!

After fishing with Matt in early September my next boat will have them.
I thought it was a blast and worked great when the bite was tough.

I run four cannon electric and at times they are a hand full!!!usually pull double lure setup's on each one ........sometimes catch limit in one pass!!!!!!!!!!!they are the way to go in the dog days of summer!!!!!!!!!!

If it's more difficult than Hellpets, then I am not smart enough to figure it out.

Matt is a awsome guy to learn from he knows what hes doings and he also makes it look easy.

i use them...when the water is high enough to stay out of the tree tops...sigh...maybe next year.

they work great when Im not snagging a tree every fifty feet.

I have 2 Electric Cannons for my boat. They are a hand full but do catch fish on the dog day's.

I have them and they work great during the dog days of summer.

I got two Cannon manual. Use them a lot and they have saved the day many times. Going to buy a couple electric ones this winter.

I use Cannon's digitrolls x 4 now and
have used down riggers since 1980 on all my boats.

they produce when nothing else will in certain times of the year and let me cover a lot of water when needed.

its not my only way to fish but it certainly adds to my toolbox for catching more fish.
