Hey guys, the fishing on Twok was fantastic today. We literally caught good striper and hybrid all day long. I have tomorrow open and sure would like to fish. The weather system and lighter winds looks like a combo for something secial to happen. Might have to don rainsuits, but I bet it wont be too bad. I also have a spot or 2 open for Wednesdays morning trip. The fishing has finally got not only good, but consistantly good clap Havent caught any really big bruisers in the past few days, but 4 to 8 pound fish have been plentiful. pm or call me at 214 415 O166 for info. Thanks, Matt!

Can even catch a bunch of these, if you like bolt

Very different day. I did not see much schooling, but I did a little deadsticking and the striper will bite anyways grin

Big ole fat tawakoni fish. Like no other lake around. The sandies are so fat they almost look deformed.

Went out with Matt this morning. It was my second time to fish with him. If you haven't fished with him you are missing something special. We went out and all the hybrids and stripers were shut down. That was pretty disappointing after seeing the mountain of fish he caught a couple of days ago. We caught one hybrid and a LMB early on, but then no more bass. Sometimes you get the fish and sometimes they get you!
Even though they weren't biting, Matt worked his a** off for us trying to find them, but today wasn't our day. All wasn't lost though; Matt had a plan B. He gave us the option of trying to find the target fish or actually catching some catfish - the three of us all wanted to try for cats. Matt had us on them good; we snatched up half a cooler full in about an hour.
I really appreciate Matt being innovative and ensuring we caught some fish, even if it wasn't the target fish. I can't wait to go out with him again.
