Thanks guys for the nice comments...it is a improvement compared to some of the things l have been compared too...just last week my wife called me a...well never mind....keep em biting Matt I will be back next week....forgot to mention Iam sitting in a deer stand waiting for the sun to come up.
I too was with Matt yesterday and I've never fished with a guide that worked as hard as Matt to put his customers on fish. His "party boat" trips have enabeled me to fish at times when I wouldn't normally be able to. Great Guide.

Thanks guys, this week has been a see saw..... Great one day and ho-hum the next. Monday was awesome, caught them schooling and then caught some deadsticking or slow rolling all day long. It was a blast. Tuesday it slowed down, never saw them school but I did catch a few slow rolling and a couple deadsticking. Wednesday was the dead sea for us the first couple hours. I looked everywhere I had been catching them, but they just werent there... After only catching a couple we decided to go catfishing, which turned out to be fun. Today was gangbusters. Caught a limit of hybrid before 8am schooling with a bunch of sand bass. When that played out, we caught a slew of striper deadsticking back where they were Monday Ended the morning with triple digits caught and we only had about 30 sand bass Crazy good morning. After that we went and filled the cooler with catfish for a fish fry. I think I spent 2 1/2 hours at the cleaning table today

Doug, turn your monitor 9O degrees and it is much better. hahaha
The past few days have been a waiting game for the most part. Looks like birds working everywhere, but most are just potlicking off of loon or comorant. Some mornings they are schooling though. Hitting all the deadsticking holes and catching one or two here and there until they just seem to manifest themselves all at once and then it is game on. It was around 1 or 2pm the last coule outings. Mostly all striper!
I have Friday open if anyone wants to try it. Looks like light winds and a small chance of showers. Front coming in the next day. Should be a good fishing day. Who knows......
