I know we still have over a month left in this year, but MAN, this year has been busy.

In January, I competed in my first Tough Mudder. Dang, that water and mud was COLD!

I did another one in October and THAT one was harder.

Yesterday, I did my very first half marathon. The sense of pride I felt rivaled when I got my EIB in the army. I am so sore today!

I broke my PB carp 3 times this year!
I broke my PB buff this year!
I broke my PB grasser this year!
I shot a spike with my bow in October.

I moved into a new house.

2011 has been a good year!

Oh yeah, I also lost 30 pounds, gained some back, and lost it again.

I sure would like to break my PB buff again.

I did some good fishing in January of this year.

My PB Carp and Buff came from L.Travis at the end of that month, now Travis is just a shadow of it's former self.

The drought and heat nearly killed my fishing this summer.

Caught a 13" Redear last month which will be the highlight of the year 2011 for me.

Lost my job just after that. I've worked there since I got to TX almost 4 years ago and it's looking tough for more work at the moment.

If we make it through December...

Well done on the record-breaking year Ted!

I have numerous goals for this coming season (I consider fishing season to be fall through spring here in TX):

Still after my first Texas mirror, my first koi period, my first grasser, and I really need to up my sad 27-8 buffalo PB! Who else do you know that's fished in Austin as much as I have with a buff PB that small? I suck. lol

Ben, I plan on hitting Decker pretty hard this winter after the weeds die off and get eaten by the coots. Come out with me and we will smash your buff!

Moved to San Antonio . Saw this pond in secret place while walking my dogs which reminded me of old days back in country . It was time to get back into fishing again.

Started learning about gears and stuffs . Slowly got into TFF got chance to meet great people learn few things or two from them about fishing . Started catching some good fishing .

Over all this year has been productive so far i learned a lot from TFF'ers and got chance to meet them and fish with them.

no.....let's don't.
This year hasn't been a stellar one for me and my wife. Lost a few close friends and family members. My job is besieged by the new management creed "Just be thankful you have a job!", which is management speak for "Bend over - I'm driving!" Glenda's job doesn't treat her much better...after 25 years she hasn't had a raise in 4 years due to " making too much money" and wasn't even thrown a party of any kind on the anniversary. I mean not even a pat on the back and a cupcake. This is from a VERY large college district in the area. When she started there it was a storefront up on a county road next to a diner. She works so hard, and deserves a bit of recognition.

And I ain't been catching many fish.
I did catch this a few weeks ago.

And I did lose 80 pounds and keep it off this year.
