I've only been on Bridgeport once a couple years back and want to go this week. I have an 18 ft open bow runabout. Anyone have info on:

-Are there any Bridgeport ramps it's possible to launch from?

-Is it safe to run an 18 ft runabout sterndrive on Bridgeport right now?

Wise county ramp is open. Lake is very low. (13') I believe.

Runaway Bay by the Shell station is open, just launched there yesterday. You can still run the lake but be careful around the islands and the points that extend way out into the lake. Pretty thin water in those areas.

I launched out of Wise County Park Sunday. I think you'd be better off going there. Water is deeper and not as many shallow areas to dodge around, water is safe from ramp to lake. Like Giz said stay WAY out from the islands & points, I was amazed how far they come out before dropping off.
