First time to post here, usually post at Texas Kayak Fisherman but have been unable to access site today.

We arrived at Colorado Bend State Park and walking down the boat ramp we noticed the water was more clear and there were no fish breaking the surface, not necessarily good signs. We unloaded the Wenona "Heron" 15' canoe and were on the water by 10 AM trolling into the southwind with 1/8 ounce blue/silver and orange/yellow jigs. It would be almost an hour before we found the murky water with shad and the first 15” white bass at Post Oak Falls. The blue herons were also there posted every 100 yards or so picking up shad that were pushed into the shallows. Heading downstream another mile we caught a nice 20.5” blue cat. The southwind provided some relief trolling back upstream and throughout the rest of the afternoon we caught a number of undersize white bass and crappie averaging one keeper/hour. Most of the fish were about one to two feet off the bottom and in the main channels. The evening sun put on a show lighting up the yellow and gold native river ash trees in the narrow green belt along the river; contrasted with the drab dead cedar trees on the hillsides. Ended up with 1 crappie, 2 blue cats and 3 white bass.

I need some simple advice on how to add pictures. I was unable to decifer the FAQ on how to do so.

Great job with the write-up. To post picture you put the picture in photobucket or similar picture hosting site. Then you simply go to the "switch to full Reply Screen" button below. Then click on the 4th icon button above the area you are typing and put the link from photo bucket in there.( It's just to the right of the opened white envelope icon).Click on "insert a non floating image" and past your link there. It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it.
Welcome aboard and it's great to have you here.

LOL...That's ok you'll get there.
When you go to photobuck just click on the picture you want to post. Then look over to the right of the screen. You will see a box that says "LINKS".
In that box there is a option that says "DIRECT LINK".
Copy that link, then come over to TFF and click on that fourth box as I mentioned earlier. Click on "insert a non floating image". Then paste that link.
The link should look similar to this.

Which turns in to this:

Nice pics, and report. Got your pics from TKF, looks like a place I need to try out soon, just wished the Colorado got some more water soon!
Just landed a new Ulitmate 14.5 solo today, and anxious to take it out.
