Hello everyone, I'm new to the site and thought I'd go ahead, say hello and share some pics

My preferred catch is always catfish so I figured it best to post in here.
I recently picked up a 1959 Comanche 15' aluminum fishing boat for 600 dollars.
It has a 1990 Evinrude 25 horse electric start and bow mounted trolling motor. I don't know how much thrust and haven't even tested it yet.

I realize its not the prettiest thing in the world but I had it at Ray Roberts today and was really pleased with how it handled on the water.
I would have liked a larger boat but as I'm towing with a 4 cylinder Honda Accord that was kind of outa the question.

Here I am at the TA truck stop making sure my little car could handle it.


I have plans to convert it to a center console to help balance the boat in the water better, I'm kinda throwing it off riding solo in the side seat.

I am really hoping to learn more about fishing productively here as I am alot better at fixing boats than I am putting fish in them

Me too, I am heading out to Ray Roberts again early tomorrow morning and putting in at Pond Creek around 700.
Anyone got any tips on the depth or location catfish are hanging around?

I've been catching some over on EM in shallow water. Might work over there too.

A week ago, they were biting from 3'0 to 47'0 it probably hasn't changed much!!!
