I finally got around to getting two of my boats off the sawhorse an onto the fence. The brackets came from Home Depot and I used treated 1X2's to extend them. I would be hard to get past my dog, but I'll probably use my twist cables to lock them to the brackets. Now, to rig up some kind of decent looking cover. I also have a Manta Ray 11 in the garage on a PVC stand. I probably have room for it on the fence, but wanted to leave enough room to mow and trim under them. Who knows....I may get ambitious and raise the middle one enough to get the all on there.

Looks good. For a temp fix just use a regular ol' tarp from wally world to block UV.

I have a similar problem at my apartment. I have 5 kayaks plus an unfinished kayak trailer. I NEED MORE ROOM!!!!

NEVER enough room! If I had more room, I'd just collect more "treasures". banana

I hope they don't!

I have some twist cables with locks. Thru the scupper holes and thru the brackets. Anything can be stolen, but hopefully, two twist cables and 4 long lag bolts per boat will be enough of a deterrent.

thumb You could lock them and then rig something up with this alarm system .

Pretty good idea Todd. It might make enough noise to scare of the unsuspecting thief.

It looks like a pretty good set-up to me CRR. I would lightly strap them down so the crazy Texas winds don't blow them off.

Good idea on the alarm, although, the "Beware of Dog" sign on the back gate is not there for decoration. smile

Straps are definitely in order. My back yard is like a wind tunnel .............

Looks good. I'm sure the dogs bark will keep everyone way.

Understood, My dog has a chip on his shoulder too. He has a bad tendency to not bark as much as he bites.
