A little while back I slid the BBQ/Smoker back agenst the house too soon.

It melted some of the vinyl siding crying

Can I replace it with out removing the strips on the top ie can I replace them from the bottom up? So I can leave the undamaged ones?

yeah you need to pull the bad and just hold up the upper piece as you nail the new one, the hard part is making sure they will lock at the bottom when you release the top one. you need to use your hand (palm) to knock the upper one into the one you just nailed.
when you take the bad off you will see what I mean.

They sell a tool at lowes to aid in doing this. The tool was 5 dollars and makes it easier and faster.
