Does anybody know if the crappie on Ray Bob head up the creeks in the late fall / winter like some the other lakes around here? I don't hear too much talk about creek fishing on Ray Bob until the spawn starts. Thanks.

I do not believe so, I've never found them up there in the winter. I don't understand why they go up in creeks in the winter in some lakes, and in others very close, they don't. I guess the shad don't go up in those creeks, because I beleive that's pretty much what drives everything. Kind of like "follow the money" it's "follow the shad"

I"ve never had luck in the creeks there during winter either. When the spring water temps are on a constant rise it"s game on in the creeks.
