What is your price range? Falcon Bucoo 7ft Med would be perfect for throwing smaller cranks.

I'd say somewhere around 150 and up. Doesn't duckett have something in there or maybe the cara series? I'd prefer made in the USA.

I throw my 1/4 oz cranks on a TFO TFG FWC 704-1.

Good backbone with a soft enough tip to launch the cranks.

Are the duckett cranking rods as light as the others?

A really sweet and fun rod is the Loomis CBR 783. You can find those used for $130-140 a lot of the time and they've got an incredible lifetime warranty.

I've found for lightweight cranks like that a 7ft Medium Light casting rod works really. If you get with Ron at Reel Time Rods he can set you up with a rod that will throw those lightweight baits and will have the handle you want. He can work around your budget and fix you up with something that fits your wants and is still reasonably priced.
