Catfishsalsa started this post for me. I have a contact that is getting me some good nets cheap and I am passing it on to the TFF people. I have Laker 7ft 1/2 inch mesh cast nets with 1 lb lead per foot. . you can get 1 or 2 for $35 each or get 3 for $99. That is the only size I am going to be getting. That is cheap. I will be fishing the tournament at Twok on Dec 10th and if you want some place your orders with me in advance and if you want them sooner then get with me because I am going to be placing an order in the next couple of days for me and can get some added. I tested one of these this weekend. They are good nets. Can't really go wrong for $35.

I thought you were gunna make ms teri throw the net this weekend?

I gave her a break....couden't imagine her standing on the front of the boat in those waves throwing the net.

First throw w/ the new net resulted in at least 50 gizzards. Next throw we got tiny channels we had to dig out of the net.

If you soak these nets in liquid downy mixed w/ water in a 5 gallon bucket they are much more soft....just saying.

I soad them about 24 hours.

I assume that goes for all mono nets? I have two now, and they're both really stiff.

yes...all mono nets this works with.

The downy trick does wonders for cast nets! I did it for the first time last week, and was really impressed.

1st group of cast nets are in. I got some of your orders late so I will try and get everyone there orders that wanted them now. I may have to make another order but wanted to wait til alittle closer to tourn. but i guess can make 2 more orders if that is what it takes. I will have a couple of extra nets at the tournament on Dec. 10 for those who need them but if you are wanting one and have not contacted me do so so some of the other people get to get them if they need one. Want to make sure everyone is happy. Also I just put the downy in the container it came in and works great also. Thanks Steve

The one I ordered from you is just a back up, I do not need mine until the tourney.
If someone else needs one now feel free to sell them mine if mine was on the first order, or let me know where and I'll pick it up sooner.

I'm ready for pickup whenever you are

I picked mine up yesterday. We already had bait so I only threw it a couple of times to get the feel for it. Even stiff as it was it throws good. Sinks really fast. Heck of a deal for only $35.
