Anybody done any creek walkin on Grapevine? Specifically out of the discharge area? Or downstream from the discharge area?

Yes, I would like know as well! Where do you access the creek as it looks like it's close to the golf course.

used to fish Marshall Creek a lot in high school, but of course the lake was full pool. I was always afraid to walk into the golf course area behind the spillway.

Marshall and Denton creeks can produce. Can you access the creek under the dam?

My brother used to live in apts called mustang off of 2499 in gvine. We used to park in the lot and walk the creek and fish. Never caught any crappie but a few bass here and there. Also never walked all the way to the discharge, but got close enough to see that it was mostly fenced off. Put on some hip highs and get after it.
