This past Spring we had a demo NuCanoe loaned to us for several months of testing and customer sampling. Overall (over several months) everyone who tested it liked everything about it except for its feeling of initial tippiness. I have no doubt that the secondary stability would have kicked in but that initial feel just wasn't good. We decided to give the manufacturer another season to make what were needed modifications to remedy the issue. This new Frontier has had a hull modification to add initial stability without sacrificing any of the yak's other qualities.
Personally, I have not tested the new Frontier but I was amazed and impressed with the original 12' NuCanoe. I've never experienced paddling a 12' long, 41" wide boat, 600# capacity boat that tracked so well while using a 270cm paddle.
FYI: here is a link to NuCanoe's Frontier page. They also have a ton of accessories, including a full duck blind.
